Album by Haruomi Hosono & Shigeru Suzuki & Tatsuro Yamashita

Pacific is a collaborative “sound image” album by Haruomi Hosono with Shigeru Suzuki and Tatsuro Yamashita, released in 1978 by CBS/Sony as part of the label’s Sound Image Series, themed around tropical Pacific travel. Largely instrumental, it blends exotica, jazz fusion, bossa nova and soft rock textures associated with early city pop.
