Symphonies Nos. 5 and 7 "Unfinished" is a set of orchestral works by Franz Schubert, composed in 1816 and 1822. They are rooted in the Classical symphonic tradition and show Schubert's move toward greater melodic lyricism and expanded harmonic language, and the "Unfinished" is left incomplete and points toward Romantic symphonic practice.
