Sinfonie Nr. 4 Es-Dur (Romantische) is the fourth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1874. The work is a large-scale Romantic symphony characterised by expansive brass chorales, sweeping string writing and dramatic dynamic and textural contrasts, and it occupies a central place in Bruckner's symphonic development as he moved towards his later, more monumental works.
