Symphony No. 9 in D Minor
Album by Anton Bruckner & Leonard Bernstein & New York Philharmonic
Symphony No. 9 in D minor is the ninth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, composed between 1887 and 1896. A large-scale late-Romantic orchestral work, it is characterised by expansive structures, dense brass and string textures and slow-moving harmonic progressions, and it represents Bruckner's final, unfinished contribution to the symphonic repertoire.
