Vers la flamme

Album by Alexander Nikolayevich Scriabin & Yevgeny Sudbin

Vers la flamme is a piano composition by Russian composer Alexander Scriabin, composed in 1914. The work exemplifies Scriabin's late style, blending late-Romantic chromaticism and early modernist dissonance with dense textures, escalating dynamics and a mystical, colouristic harmonic approach, and it occupies a notable place among his final piano works as an expression of his evolving harmonic language.
