Renard
Album by Igor Fyodorovitch Stravinsky
Renard is a one-act burlesque by Russian composer Igor Stravinsky, completed in 1916. The work blends Russian folk material with Stravinsky's shifting metres, pungent rhythmic accents and pared-down chamber scoring, and occupies a transitional place in his output between earlier ballet experiments and his later neoclassical phase.
