Symphony no. 7 "Angel of Light"

Symphony No. 7, Angel of Light, is the seventh symphony by Finnish composer Einojuhani Rautavaara, composed in 1994. The work employs lush orchestral colours, lyrical melodic lines and luminous harmonic textures to evoke a contemplative, mystical atmosphere, and it signifies a turn toward a more overtly melodic, late-period style in the composer's symphonic output.
