Turandot is an opera by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini, premiered posthumously in 1926. Musically it blends late-Romantic orchestration with colourful, exoticist motifs and expansive choral and orchestral textures, and it is Puccini's final stage work, reflecting his move towards larger-scale operatic writing.
