Drumming

Drumming is a 1971 composition by American composer Steve Reich, issued that year as an album-length recording. The work exemplifies Reich's minimalist style through interlocking, phased rhythmic patterns for tuned and untuned percussion and voice, and it represents an important early exploration of process music and rhythmic permutation in his career.
