Evita is a concept album by Andrew Lloyd Webber, released in 1976. Musically it blends pop and rock elements with operatic and Latin-influenced orchestration in a largely sung-through musical-theatre format, representing a continuation of Webber's exploration of rock-influenced theatre works and an important step in his development as a composer for the stage.
