Modern Man
Album by Stanley Clarke
Modern Man is the fourth studio album by American jazz bassist Stanley Clarke, released in 1978. The album is rooted in jazz fusion and funk and has electric bass centre stage, synthesiser textures, tight horn and rhythm arrangements and a mix of instrumental and vocal pieces, and it follows Clarke's move to more electric, groove-oriented material after his earlier fusion work and sits within the late 1970s jazz-funk scene.
