Past the Wishing is the debut album by American singer-songwriter Sara Groves, released in 1998. It is rooted in folk-influenced contemporary Christian music with acoustic arrangements and intimate vocals, and it was her first release that established the lyrical and musical approach she continued to explore on subsequent albums.
