Elaborations

Elaborations is an album by American alto saxophonist Arthur Blythe, released in 1982. The music is rooted in modern jazz and post-bop, with bold alto lines, strong rhythmic drive and contrasting timbres that align with Blythe's early 1980s move toward larger, more arranged ensemble sounds in his recorded work.
