Urban Guerilla

This single by English space rock band Hawkwind was released in 1973. Musically it blends psychedelic rock and space rock elements with driving rhythms, distorted guitar and synthesiser textures, and it occupies a contentious place in the band's early catalogue after being withdrawn shortly after release amid contemporaneous political sensitivities, illustrating tensions between their lyrical themes and the public climate at the time.
