Suites pour violoncelle seul N°3 en do majeur and N°4 en mi bémol majeur are two of the Six Cello Suites by Johann Sebastian Bach, composed in the early 18th century (circa 1717–1723). They are solo cello works that employ Baroque dance forms and contrapuntal textures, each set consisting of a prelude followed by a sequence of dance movements, and they occupy a foundational position in the solo cello repertoire and in the development of solo string literature.
