The Tipping Point is the sixth studio album by American hip hop band The Roots, released in 2004. It mixes hip hop, funk, jazz and soul and uses live instrumentation alongside samples and guest vocals, and it followed their 2002 release as the band moved toward broader R&B and pop textures in their career.
