Carmen Suites No 1 and No 2 are orchestral suites by French composer Georges Bizet, derived from his 1875 opera Carmen. They are scored for full orchestra in a Romantic French idiom, moving between lively dance rhythms, prominent wind and brass colours and lyrical string passages, and they helped carry Bizet's theatre music into concert programming after the opera's premiere.
