Third Plane

Third Plane is a studio album by American jazz bassist Ron Carter, released in 1977. The album features acoustic post-bop trio performances characterised by intricate rhythmic interplay, extended improvisation and prominent bass-led arrangements, and it occupies a place in Carter's discography as an example of his approach to the modern jazz trio.
