Album by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart & Ensemble Resonanz & Riccardo Minasi
Symphonies Nos. 39, 40 and 41 "Jupiter" is a collection of three symphonies by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed in 1788. These late Classical-era orchestral works are characterised by clear formal structures, varied orchestration, expressive melodic writing and heightened harmonic and contrapuntal complexity, and they occupy a pivotal position in Mozart's late output and in the development of the symphonic tradition.
