Awake

Awake is the third studio album by American progressive metal band Dream Theater, released in 1994. Musically it mixes progressive metal and hard rock, features extended instrumental passages, employs complex time signatures and heavy guitar and keyboard textures, and it marks a move toward darker, more concise material in the band's catalogue after earlier, more openly progressive work.
