String Quartets KV 575, 585, 590 "Preußische Quartette"
Album by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart & Leipziger Streichquartett
String Quartets KV 575, 585, 590 "Preußische Quartette" is a set of three string quartets by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed in 1789–1790. They are late Classical chamber works with clear textures, balanced interplay among the instruments, and increased use of harmonic colour and contrapuntal writing, and they come from Mozart's final years when he wrote for patrons and ensembles associated with Prussia.
