Stabat Mater is a choral composition by Estonian composer Arvo Pärt, composed in 1985. Written in his tintinnabuli style, the piece employs austere, bell-like harmonies, slow tempi and spare counterpoint, and is representative of Pärt's return to sacred vocal music during the 1980s.
