Violin concertos no. 4 & 5
Album by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart & Josef Suk & Pražský komorní orchestr
Violin Concertos Nos. 4 and 5 are violin concertos by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed in 1775 and 1776. They exemplify Classical-era concerto style with graceful melodic lines, transparent orchestral textures and demanding solo violin writing, and they occupy an important place in Mozart's early concerto output and in the development of the solo violin repertoire.
