String Quartet No. 15 in G major, D.887 is a string quartet by Austrian composer Franz Schubert, completed in 1826. A work of Schubert's late period, it employs expansive melodies, adventurous harmonic shifts and contrasts of lyrical slow movements with energetic fast movements, illustrating his mature approach to chamber music and its place within the evolving Romantic quartet repertoire.
