Roger Mayer

Roger Mayer is a British effects company founded in 1964 by the engineer of the same name, who built custom fuzz boxes for guitarists on the London scene. It is best known for the Octavia, the octave-up fuzz Jimi Hendrix played on the solo of Purple Haze, and the firm still builds effects and studio gear by hand in the UK.
