The Roland AT-4 is an audio-to-trigger converter introduced by Roland in 1994, designed to accept low-level piezo sensor inputs from acoustic drum pads and convert them into electronic trigger outputs. It was used to interface acoustic percussion with electronic drum modules and drum machines.
