Minimal Techno

Minimal Techno emerged in the 1990s, predominantly from clubs in Detroit and Berlin, as if someone decided that all the fuss in music could be condensed to just a few blinking lights and a relentless beat. Characterised by its stripped-back sound, it often features repetitive patterns and subtle variations, so while it might seem like a machine's lullaby, there's a surprising depth lurking beneath the surface.
