Fender Jaguar
Guitar & Bass by Fender
The Fender Jaguar is an offset-body electric guitar introduced by Fender in 1962 as the company's top-of-the-line model, featuring a distinctive 24-inch short scale, two single-coil pickups, and a dual lead/rhythm circuit with floating tremolo. Its bright, cutting tone and complex controls found favour in the surf music scene before being adopted by post-punk and shoegaze artists, with Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine making it central to the layered, distorted sound on Loveless.
