Marius van Altena

Marius van Altena is a Dutch tenor who began his career in the 1960s specialising in early and Baroque music. He became associated with the historically informed performance movement, performing and recording works by composers such as Bach and Monteverdi and contributing to the revival of early vocal repertoire in the Netherlands and Europe.
