Ransom Wilson

Ransom Wilson is an American flautist and conductor who began his career in the 1970s, working primarily in classical and contemporary music and leading chamber ensembles and orchestras. Throughout his career he has focused on solo and chamber repertoire, commissioning and performing contemporary works alongside historical pieces and developing programmes that bridge traditional and modern approaches.
