Alessandro Rolla
Alessandro Rolla was an Italian violinist, violist, composer and conductor from Pavia in Lombardy who was active from the late 18th century within the Classical and early Romantic traditions. He wrote virtuosic instrumental pieces, pedagogical studies and orchestral and chamber works that bridged Classical forms and early Romantic expression, contributing to the development of violin technique in Italy.
