Ned Evett is an American singer-songwriter and instrumentalist who emerged from the United States independent rock scene and is associated with rock, alternative and experimental music. Known for using the electric lap steel as a lead instrument, he blends rock, blues and experimental approaches, employing extended techniques, looping and customisation to expand the instrument's role within indie and progressive contexts.
