Albert Dietrich
Albert Dietrich was a German composer and conductor born in Gummersbach in 1829 who began his career in the mid-19th century and worked primarily within the Romantic classical tradition. His output included orchestral, chamber and vocal works that reflect Romantic-era forms and aesthetics, and he took part in the cultural milieu of 19th-century German music through collaborations and contributions to the concert repertoire.
