David Bedford

David Bedford was an English composer and musician from London who began his career in the 1960s and worked across contemporary classical, experimental and progressive music genres. His output combined avant-garde techniques with choral, orchestral and popular-music elements, evolving from experimental chamber works into larger-scale vocal and orchestral projects that engaged both academic and popular contexts.
