Elton Dean

Elton Dean was an English jazz saxophonist and experimental musician who began his career in the mid-1960s and became closely associated with the Canterbury scene and jazz-rock fusion. Noted for his use of the rare saxello and for blending free-jazz improvisation with electric fusion, he played in a range of progressive and avant-garde ensembles and contributed to the development of British experimental jazz.
