Ratatat are an American electronic rock duo formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 2001, whose work blends electronic production with rock instrumentation. Their music is largely instrumental and guitar-driven, evolving across albums to incorporate denser production, orchestral textures and elements of hip-hop and indie rock.
