The Morwells

The Morwells are a Jamaican reggae band formed in Kingston in 1973, emerging from the island's early 1970s roots reggae scene. Their recordings blended roots-reggae songwriting with dub production techniques and studio experimentation, and some members later joined or helped form the Roots Radics, linking the group to the evolution of backing bands and the dub tradition.
