Milko Kelemen
Milko Kelemen was a Croatian composer born in Slatina in 1924 who began his career in the mid-20th century and worked primarily in contemporary classical and avant-garde music. His output encompassed orchestral, chamber, vocal and electroacoustic pieces characterised by experimental techniques and attention to timbre and spatialisation, and he founded and directed the Music Biennale Zagreb, contributing to the promotion of contemporary music in Croatia.
