Ron Mathewson

Ron Mathewson was a Scottish jazz double bassist and bass guitarist who began his professional career in the 1960s and was active on the British jazz scene. He worked across mainstream and modern jazz styles, appearing regularly in London clubs and as a session musician backing visiting American artists and other ensembles within the post‑war UK jazz circuit.
