Hans Otte

Hans Otte was a German composer, pianist and radio producer born in 1926, whose career began in the post-war period and centred on contemporary classical and experimental music. He is associated with meditative, minimalist piano cycles such as Das Buch der Klänge that use repeating patterns and draw on Eastern influences, and he worked in radio and concert programming to present contemporary and experimental repertoire.
