Valerie Masterson

Valerie Masterson is an English operatic soprano who began her professional career in the 1960s, specialising in opera and operetta with major British companies. Her repertoire focused on lyric and light-coloured roles—including Gilbert and Sullivan, French and Italian operetta and lighter Mozart and bel canto parts—and she was a regular performer with companies such as the English National Opera and the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
