Sydney Dance Company is an Australian contemporary dance company based in Sydney, founded in the late 1960s and active in professional contemporary dance and national and international touring. It commissions and performs contemporary choreography that blends classical technique, experimental movement and multimedia collaboration, and runs education and outreach programmes that have contributed to the development of Australia's contemporary dance landscape.
