Fiona Apple McAfee-Maggart (born 13 September 1977) is an American singer‑songwriter and pianist from New York City whose work blends alternative rock, art pop and jazz‑inflected arrangements and often explores confessional themes of relationships and personal introspection. Her studio albums include Tidal (1996), When the Pawn... (1999), Extraordinary Machine (2005), The Idler Wheel... (2012) and Fetch the Bolt Cutters (2020).
