David Rose and His Orchestra

David Rose and His Orchestra were an American studio orchestra formed by composer and arranger David Rose, active from the 1930s into the mid-20th century and specialising in orchestral pop, easy listening and radio-oriented big band arrangements. Their recordings combined lush string writing, light jazz influences and popular-song forms, evolving from radio and big band arrangements into studio-produced orchestral pop frequently used as themes and background music in American radio and television, reflecting mid-20th-century tastes in popular instrumental music.
