This Heat

This Heat were an English experimental rock band formed in Camberwell, London, in 1976, emerging from the post-punk and avant-garde scenes. They combined abrasive post-punk rhythms, tape-loop techniques, found sounds and long-form improvisation in a studio-focused approach, producing a compact body of recordings before disbanding in the early 1980s and later being cited as influential within experimental and post-punk circles.
