Dan Trueman is an American composer and fiddler who began his career in the 1990s and works across contemporary classical, experimental and folk genres. He combines traditional fiddle techniques with electronic processing and custom-built interfaces, exploring the intersection of folk practices and new-music composition and applying these approaches in solo, chamber and collaborative contexts.
