Burkhard Stangl is an Austrian guitarist and composer based in Vienna who emerged on the experimental and improvisational music scene in the 1990s, working across free improvisation, electroacoustic music and contemporary composition. His work blends acoustic guitar with electronics, field recordings and minimalist compositional approaches, moving between improvised performance, studio-based electroacoustic projects and conceptual pieces that engage with the European experimental music scene.
