Brian Blade

Brian Blade is an American jazz drummer and composer from Shreveport, Louisiana, who began his professional career in the early 1990s and later formed his own group to explore a blend of jazz, folk and gospel-inflected songwriting. His musical style combines dynamic, sensitive drumming with lyrical composition, evolving from small acoustic settings to larger ensemble arrangements that emphasise improvisation alongside song-based structures.
