Robert Johnson

Robert Johnson was an American Delta blues singer, guitarist and songwriter from Mississippi who began performing in the late 1920s and recorded commercial sessions in 1936-1937. His recordings feature slide guitar, intricate fingerpicking and lyrics about travel, loss and the supernatural, and they were later cited by blues and rock musicians as a source for their work.
