Alarm Will Sound are an American chamber orchestra formed in 2001 at the Eastman School of Music and now based in New York City, specialising in contemporary classical and new music. They perform a wide range of contemporary repertoire and cross-genre projects, blending precise acoustic ensemble playing with electronics and arrangements of electronic and popular music, evolving through commissioning new works, multimedia collaborations and extensive touring within the 21st-century new-music landscape.
